A sparkly, rainbow, unicorn birthday party… That was our daughter, Kinzie’s request for her 5th Birthday. She tried to add an elephant in there at one point, but that’s where I had to draw the line 🙂 I had so much fun pulling this together, and the pure joy on her face during “Pin the horn on the unicorn” is something I will never forget. It was chilly & the wind was whipping around that day, so my “Pinterest” rainbow back drop made with plastic table cloths hanging from the deck wasn’t coming together. At. All. I finally scrapped the idea and laid the 6 table cloths side by side over the food table. It turned out better than what I had originally planned! A crowd favorite was the cookie painting, created by Summer’s Sweet Shoppe in Spring Hill, TN. Kinzie is currently obsessed with art & painting. The “paint by number” cookies were an activity, desert & party favor all in one! What a fun party it was for our fun FIVE-year old little girl! We so love you Kinz!
