Spent today (the day before the anniversary of 9/11) visiting the Memorial Museum in New York City where the twin towers once stood. The scene is sobering, humbling & empowering. In the midst of the stories of terror there was hope. I found myself in awe of the resilience of people, a city & all those who stand for freedom. I will never forget watching those moments unfold as I stood in my dorm room preparing for class, watching in disbelief… And now today I will never forget.
*Dedicating these photos to Susan M. Sauer, the Aunt of one of my recent Grooms, Ryan. Susan was on the 99th Floor of the North Tower, in town for a business trip. She was loved much by her family. Never forgotten.
