You know when you lay in bed awake at night because you are so excited you can hardly stand it?!?! Well that’s what happened as I’ve eagerly awaited the day of sharing Meg & Chandler’s wedding photo Blog post…and it’s here!! I am overjoyed to have had the honor of celebrating & capturing the wedding of my dear Meg & Chandler. Not only did they pick one of my favorite Nashville wedding venues, Carnton Plantation, but Meg (and her entourage) put her creative DIY touch on the entire event and by God’s grace & abundant blessings it was practically flawless! A vintage hutch was used for the program table entering the garden. Wooden boards with script letting of 1 Corinthians 13 lined the center isle of the ceremony. The use of succulents in the bridal bouquet made for the perfect pop of color & texture. Twinkle lights draped the outdoor lawn where cornhole, giant balloons & a kids’ table with games were a huge hit. An antique tractor that had been converted in to an ice cream machine, delighted the guest with some homemade chocolate or vanilla. And they love birds drove off in a beautiful restored truck that has belonged to Chandler’s dad since he was a teenager. Sooo many wonderful moments! Maybe I went overboard with the amount of photos in this post… but you’ll see… it was nearly impossible to narrow down 🙂 Love you Meg & Chandler!
