This was a wedding like no other! Mackenzie is a dear college friend of mine & no matter where her wedding was to be held, I would be overjoyed to be there to celebrate with her. But a destination wedding in the Mountains of Big Canoe, GA was more than I had ever dreamed. Meeting Ryan for the first time, upon arriving, I knew immediately how perfect they are for each other. The mountains have always been important to Mackenzie. As I type this they are still honeymooning across the Pacific Northwest – an ideal start to their fairy tale marriage.
The location of Big Canoe was gorgeous in itself, but the details of lush flowers, handcrafted rustic baskets, shakers for the exit, ruffle cake & so much more – made this day the ultimate celebration for Mackenzie & Ryan! A adored working with the Wedding Coordinators, Simply Charming Socials, and the videographer, Kevin Hursh Films, from Atlanta. The band, Papa Sol, was OVER THE TOP amazing! I’m still “coming down from the mountain” of this epic weekend. I’m hopeful to be back in Big Canoe for more weddings in the future. Congrats to my dearest Mackenzie & her husband, Ryan!
