Karla & Geoff’s Vanderbilt Legends Club Wedding – Franklin, TN

What a gorgeous April wedding! Karla & Geoff were married at Grassland Heights Baptist Church with Reception at Vanderbilt Legends Club. I have photographed at the Legends Club before and the location and staff were phenomenal. The purple and green wedding colors were carried throughout the wedding details and Karla seemed to have thought of everything! Some of the fabulous details included personalized dress hangers, monogrammed drink stirrers, all purple candy bar, heart shaped sparklers, “I Do” stickers on her bridal shoes, with many more… but my all time favorite was the stunning vintage car for their exit! The day of Karla & Geoff’s wedding, was also the 50th anniversary of Karla’s grandparents. A special 50th anniversary cake was placed next to the wedding cake and her grandparents shared a sweet dance together celebrating their special day. But to top it all off… a special song request was made by several guests and the DJ blasted the song “Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith while the wedding guests all pulled out hidden red solo cups and serenaded the surprised bride & groom. Axle’s 1 Year Portraits in Franklin, TN

I grew up with a red-headed mom & sister, so being around these red-headed kids feels like family! When Axle arrived for his 1 Year Portrait session in Franklin, TN – he wasn’t quit sure he was up for it. So his sister, Aria, jumped in to show her brother the ropes After pulling out all the stops, Axle’s mom and I thought of one last trick… the iPHONE! And tada, a smile! I’ve so enjoyed shooting Aria & Axle’s child and family portraits and look forward to seeing them grow in years to come…. I’ll have my iphone ready!

Alex’s 3 Month Portraits – Franklin, TN

This was my first time to meet Alex! I shot his parent’s wedding and his brother’s full first year, but now we welcome sweet Alex onto the scene for his 3 month portraits His mama Lisa & all pulled out all of our entertaining tricks to get these smiles & he melted our hearts. I can already tell what a loving personality Alex has and I can’t wait to see him grow throughout this year!

Oh these precious kiddos! I have been photographing Katherine since she was 3 months old and now to finish her brother William’s first year portraits… Where has the time gone?! I love this sweet family and this Westhaven photo session in Franklin, TN was too fun! William wasn’t too thrilled at every moment, but we still captured some classic smiles & tears that I know his family will treasure. Thank you Burton Family for being a part of my life and for bringing me such darling kids to photograph
