Henry and I chatted over the phone to coordinate the plan for the proposal.  1) He would pick up Paige from the airport  2) Bring her to the Pedestrian Bridge in Downtown Nashville 3) Hand her a letter & face her towards the city 4) I would be in position & when he went down on one knee she would turn around 5) She’d say YES!

The night came… I was in position (with my amazing husband, Luke, assisting me) on the bridge.  The only problem, we hadn’t met in person and I had only seen a photo of them from Facebook.  From my position on one end of the bridge, I thought I saw them… at the OTHER end of the bridge.  So I take off running in my wedges!  Henry was already in the zone when I made it to them and I was JUST in time!  He knelt down on one knee (with the ring box upside down, haha)…Paige turned around… and SHE SAID YES!!  I had chills all over. But that’s not all!  Henry had arranged for her family to fly in from Florida to surprise her.  Both his & her families walked up and the tears flowed and soon after the champagne 🙂   AHHH I can’t even describe the joy I felt to be a part of this.  Congratulations Henry & Paige!

Ya’ll my dear friend & client, Jessica Bishop aka “The Budget Savvy Bride“, was featured this week on CNBC online!!  See her killer video below on how she cut her wedding budget in half!  Evin Photography gets a shout out too!  I have always been in awe of Jessica & her many, many talents.  She is truly a trend setter and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. You’ll LOVE her tips.  Here’s her quick video tip from CNBC…

How this bride had a $20,000 wedding for half the price

She knew she only had $500 to serve 150 guests beer and wine. So she had a sneaky trick to keep it cheap. http://cnb.cx/2oacrwR

All week their wedding day called for 100% chance of rain… on the morning of the wedding, snow fell.  It covered the trees, but not the roads.  The guests arrived safely, ceremony was moved inside, and a the snow created the most picture perfect back drop beyond anything we could have imagined!  Flurries fell the enitre time we took photos and it was one of the most peaceful weddings I can remember being a part of.  Hannah & Titus were oh-so-deserving of this wonderful day!

Hannah was stunning and her flowers, by Beth’s Bouquets, were gorgeous!  The bridesmaids wore lovely blush dresses & we had fun with clear umbrellas! All of the guests had an incredible night of dancing.  And with KayMc Connfections making the wedding cake & her famous cake balls, the guests licked the platters clean.  This wedding was so full of JOY.  I pray it bursts through these photos.  Congratulations Hannah & Titus!

P.S.  Don’t miss my cute little nephews as they made a guest appearance as the ring bearers 🙂

Hays & Houston were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville and celebrated their reception at The Country Music Hall of Fame.  Their wedding was the ultimate dream, coordinated to perfection by The Social Office!  Hays looked absolutely stunning in her dress from Modern Trosseau.  Hays loves orchids and my jaw dropped when I saw her bridal bouquet of cascading white orchids (by J Kent Freeman Floral Design out of Jackson, TN).

Once at the reception, guests were truly treated to a beautiful evening.  The incredible cake by Dessert Designs was the focal point of the room as the Nashville skyline provided the picturesque backdrop. Their band from Boston, The Sultans of Swing, kept the party going late into the night.  One of the highlights was when the glow sticks & glasses were passed out, along with chicken biscuits & mini doughnuts!  This fabulous night celebrating Hays & Houston will be remembered by many for years to come!  Congrats you guys!!
